Mugs for Tea (L)

As a self-professed Tea addict I'm often given pretty mugs by my friends or I buy them myself! I'd been thinking about doing this for a while and seeing as it was actually sunny yesterday I went and took pictures in my garden.

Oh my gosh, look... No rain!

My garden. It's a bit shit, but it's getting there... I hate my toes :/

Shoes - Barratts (about 4 years ago, they're my sister's!)

My three favourite mugs. Cupcake mug - Tesco, £2!! 'A' mug - Anthropologie, £6. Biscuit mug - Paperchase, I don't know the price because it was a present, but you can ask Liv, because she's the babe that bought it for me!

Shoes and mugs... Why wouldn't they be in grass?

I love flowers, this is one of the only ones in my garden around at the moment. Flowers + Cupcake + Cupcake mug = Happy Abi :)

I'm craving a cup now, I only had one about 5 minutes ago!!

More from London [Part 1]

Sorry about the horrendous lack of updates, I had a bit of a weird time, but it was excellent too :D

London, on the whole, was pretty damn good! We went shopping on Wednesday, totally destroyed my mother :)

First stop - Covent Garden

We went and had a quick look in Candy Cakes; I loved the look of the cakes and the window display, but the cakes were a bit too much for my [small] budget! They were so cute though, they looked like they came straight from a cartoon strip!


After that, I browed through many excellent shops and we came to a small craft-type fair. There was an odd but cool stand selling what I believed were phone charms, but they were quite big!


I wish I bought the Gold Dinosaur, it's so cute! I had intended on going back a little later, but we got distracted by The Primrose Bakery!


They make the cutest cupcakes, I had a chocolate one and my mum had a lemon flavoured one. Mine was beautifully decorated with a handful of coloured stars [yum!] and mum's had an elegant white flower which we managed to keep safe and is now sitting in my kitchen. They were actually a very reasonable price - two cake and a pot of tea (we had four cups from it) all for just £6.40! I was very impressed.





They tasted so good! At first, I felt really bad about eating it [because it was so pretty], but it was so worth it!

My Two Obsessions...

I've just found this fabby new website. I'd searched on Google for a teacup necklace. I do have a slight obsession with tea!! So I'd though a teacup necklace would be my ideal gift, so I looked...

And came up with..... Temporary Secretary!. There was another website that came up first, but this teacup was much more dainty and looked realistic, but the other was all brown and dull.

Gorgeous, isn't she? I just need someone to buy it for me now!!

I'm officially in love with this website, it's full of cutesy, adorable jewelry such as;

Loving the Alice in Wonderland necklace, especially because I was a big fan as a child, and now there's the Tim Burton version that I can't wait to see!

I've featured the Coral ring because I reckon pink is very A/W '09. The Coral design shows how much effort the makers have gone to. The intricacy gives an extra look of glamour as well, which is always a bonus. Also admiring the filigree ring part, it just makes it a bit more special.

The Cupcake Ring. I know that I needn't say more, but I just have to! I have completely fallen for this necklace, looking at it makes my mouth water and my heart long for it even more. Putting it on view here for me to see daily was probably not the best plan, but I just had to!

My other obsession being ducks. In my bedroom, and throughout the rest of the house, I have well over 100 ducks... My parents love the fact they've taken over an entire wall of my old bedroom... But I do love them so much. I don't know what it is about them, but they're becoming ever more popular. Hence the addition of the "Ducky" ring!!
