Anthropologie, Regent Street

It's taken me about a month to post this, I get distracted easily. However, this post is all about Anthropologie, Regent street, London. My trip was in the half-term and I just wish I had unlimited cash because I'd buy everything in this shop!

I'd like to start off with a very simple fact and it is thus; I love everything about this shop. The amount of detail put into it is incredible. For instance, this floor list shows a rough idea of what's on each floor, but it's been hand made using multiple layers and prints and it's just damn cool.

- The answer is yes; who doesn't want a Paper Mache Bear on their dinner table?
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
- I just thought this was cute, I like how they've gone to the effort of having the sewn line on it.
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
- They have a wall of plants. Yes, they're real! I've been told that they get watered by rainwater from the roof or something like that...
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
- Sorry, this photo is awful quality, but it's supposed to show these amazing lampshades that were completely recycled. The were made from all sorts like beads and bottle caps and things.
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
- Any shop with dragon content makes me smile, especially when they're cute framed drawings like these!
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
- I thought that the colourful wall looked really good because it was right next to an uber colourful bed! Plus, there were lots of drawing of exotic birds on the walls which gave it this awesome 'Urban Jungle' vibe.
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
- Recycling to the max! The bottles were so mesmerising! When I was paying for my mug (yes, I bought my 'A' mug!) I looked up and realised some of them even had paint drips on them to look like spilt wine.
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
- Last, but not least, on a chair that wasn't even for sale, they had bears... that I don't believe were for sale :') And that's why I loved this shops, all these little quirks that make it like a wonderland of discovery. It's how I wanted my parents shop to be, but there was never enough space.

All in all, I adore this shop, I'm so glad I went! I'd been following Anthropologie for ages and I was so happy when I found out they'd opened here... it just took me a while to get down to London to visit it!! So, if you're ever in London, or relatively near, or you just fancy a day out, drop in an spend an hour or so there :') I bet it'd be possible, it's so gorgeous. My mum gave up after about 2 minutes and sat on a sofa because she knew I'd be looking around for ages!

Mmmmm, friday! Means I get to see a certain someone tomorrow; things are looking up :)

Absolutely Alice

I went mini-shopping with my friend today, she was looking for jeans, I was almost her personal shopper, it was beautiful :')
Various shops and no luck later, we ended up in New Look where I found this denim dress. It's £25 which is a lot on my limited budget, but I might be able to scrape it. But I'm not entirely sure about it, what do you think?

I've never really been one for denim, other than on my legs, but I actually really liked this dress. I know there's a bit of a denim trend going on at the moment, but I've chosen to ignore it!

However, there was a woman at my bus stop yesterday and I thought she looked really cool. She had on a woolly grey granny cardi, a blue denim shirt and a black pencil skirt. I would've felt a bit awkward taking a photo to be honest so you'll just have to imagine it! She looked on-trend whilst still keeping an air of originality and cool. Plus, she had bright orange dyed hair! Tres cool. On that note, I need to re-dye my hair; the purple faded fast :/ sad times.

Back to the denim dress! If I bought it, I'd have to wear it with this stunning nail varnish from OPI

It's called 'Absolutely Alice' - a nod to Alice in Wonderland, which I still haven't seen! S0meone take me? My sister just bought it and it looks absolutely incredible. I can't wait for an excuse to steal it!!

I have a lovely post lined up for tomorrow, so catch you then, for now I have about 60 A3 pages of coursework to do for DT tomorrow... Wish me luck? I'll need it...

I believe it's around £35, and on my budget? Never going to happen... sad times :/

It's perfect for this season's nude/neutrals feel. Plus I love lace!

I leave lusting after this beauty... I want it :(

Oh For A Lazy Saturday...

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
Yes, my room IS horrendously messy here!!

Cardigan - Vintage
Jeggins - Primark
Top - Either H&M or Primark
Necklace - Purple Turtle Beads

This is how I wanted to go out today, but social events called for a slightly more formal dress. I don't exactly know what to wear yet, but for one - I want to look nice for a guy, two - I want to look nice for my friends and three - I want to look nice for me!! I reckon that's the most important reason; looking nice so that you feel good. There's often times when I feel a bit under-the-weather and I stick on a nice outfit and instantly feel better. Try it next time you feel a bit... meh. You all know what I mean!!

I will try and post again later tonight or early tomorrow about the day's events and my much more appealing outfit!

Hello, Cupcake!

Whilst browsing through one of my favourite jewellery websites - Ji Ji Kiki - I came across these cutesy, kitsch cupcake earrings that I really want!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
They're only £5, and with my slight cupcake obsession, I think I'd never take them out!

It's just a quick post today, I don't have a lot to talk about recently. I don't know what's wrong, if anything at all, I'm just really tired all the time, and whenever I get to the computer it's just a quick Facebook check then, inevitably, I end up in bed! Very annoying, trust me. But I'm going to try and get back to my regular posting, just for you lot!

I'm going to a party/gathering sort of thing tomorrow, so there will be a lovely outfit post for you... once I've worked out what to wear!!

We Say Summer

I'm looking forward to summer - sooo much! Mainly because I can wear fewer clothes and actually look cool and not have to wear a billion layers!!

My Friday night was spent travelling to Walsall to see a few bands with my friend Sam. One such band was staying over at Sam's with me - We Say Summer. There were three other bands on the night - two rather metal-ly bands and one guy who was adorable. I wanted to put him in my pocket and keep him :D

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
They're cool, yet cruel, guys. I say cruel only because they 'Fraped' [Facebook Raped] me quite badly. It was pretty funny though :)

Whenever I listen to them, here, I always think of Panic! At The Disco. But only for a few seconds; We Say Summer are a lot more... in your face :D Recently, I've been listening to a lot of Indie and a lot of Nancy Sinatra [Don't ask why, I don't know either!! I love her though] but these "Pop-Punk/Happy-Hardcore" remind me of the good old days. Just typing that made me feel old, but I did used to listen to a lot more rock/punk music and I'm not sure why I don't anymore - I still like it though!

Anyway, the band is made up of great guys - Jay, Steve, Damien, Steve and Jamie - and even though they're cruel, they're fun. I'm probably going to see them again in April [I think] so I'll wear this -
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
High-Waisted black shorts - H&M
Cardigan - Dotty P
Tights - Primark probably :P
Panda Tee - We Say Summer - One of the Steve's gave Sam and me one each at the end of the night as a present for letting them crash at hers! I told them they can stay at mine next time they're in Birmingham, yeah... I'm clever like that... Damn them for living in Manchester though - summer tour ftw :)

UrbanFreakingOutfitters

Or UFO as I like to call it :D

I just grabbed these from their Facebook from their latest line - the "New In Product" folder. Yum yum yum. Necessity calls right?

I love the slouchy look to the first top/dress and yet it's still on trend in the Nudes look. It'd be the sort of thing that you could throw on in a rush and still look amazing - I need more like that! Also, the floral dress is a stunner, I'm loving the floaty look of the fabric. I reckon it'd be a great piece for when it's warmer because it's be nice and light.

The tights. I'm a tights fiend, I love them. This pair I didn't actually like at first, but then I though of what I'd wear them with and fell in love! I really like the Paisley style to the print and I think they'd look beautiful with a plain black playsuit or slimline dress. The white top is wicked also; I'd love to wear it with a really bright bra so that it gives a hint of your body without it actually being visible under the baggy cut of the top. If not that, then with red jewellery to add a hint of colour and maybe black or navy tights.

I tell you one thing - cannot wait for EMA! I might even get a job :) Just thinking of real life gives me chills, but in a good way! x

Everyone's going gaga...

I still can't make up my mind. A lot of the stuff she wears is mental... but that's fashion right? Breaking the boundaries, trying new things - being creative?

I love the lace and the shapes and textures the head thing gives :)

The latex does amazing things for her figure, it smoothes over curves and is just a bit of fun really! And with the lobster one? I just want the shoes :D
